Great Brooksvillian Alfred McKethan shows up in this episode again with his famous tagline, “All Roads Lead to Brooksville.” For Alfred, that meant making sure the coveted State Roads came right through Brooksville. But I like to think it offers another meaning that ties in with today’s episode we recorded onsite at Chinsegut Hill with Andrea Hedick Read, Blake Bell, and Barry Meindl. Anyone who knows us will tell you we are all very different people, but we are united in friendship by our passion for our community.
We can bring our diverse experiences and backgrounds to the table. And when we do, Brooksville (or “BVL” as we’ve started calling it after creating our TourBVL website) is stronger as a result. Though this episode is “mini” it is mighty in the message it carries for all of us. Wherever you call home, may you lend your light and life to making it better. You can give Elizabeth Robins no greater compliment.
